INTTRA introduces tools to analyze shipment history

INTTRA recently launched INTTRA Marketplace Decision Support, technology that could that could ultimately have an impact on the activities of ports and terminals.

The new platform allows freight forwarders and shippers to organize and analyze information about their prior ocean shipments.

The INTTRA Shipment Reliability Dashboard analyzes actual vessel events to help assess shipping options for each region and destination. The dashboards within this technology allow freight forwarders/shippers to improve operations by making more informed decisions based on their own shipping history, trade lane by trade lane, according to the statement.

"While INTTRA's Decision Support Dashboards are designed for the shippers and freight forwarders, they benefit terminals and ports by creating a solid foundation for stronger partnerships between all parties," said Inna Kuznetsova, president of INTTRA Marketplace.

"Data quality in recording vessel arrival and departure times plays a large role in tracing shipments and improving predictions of transit times. While these two products are the first two dashboards in our new family of products, we will be delighted to further partner with ports and terminals to develop additional tools for their decision support."
